The Institute for Local Government (ILG) has created a new Web page dedicated to the 2010 Census. The goal of the new page is to provide resources about local and statewide census efforts to help ensure that California has an accurate population count. Visit ILG's Web site to see the collection of resources offered.

ILG also offers an Immigrant Engagement Listserv as a tool for public officials. This listserv serves as a means to share information and resources regarding successful civic, economic and political participation of immigrant residents in their communities throughout California. City officials are encouraged to use this listserv to share strategies that ensure an accurate count of immigrant populations during the census.
